Dealing with and, better still, avoiding a potential claim in respect of these dismissal protections can make this area seem a minefield. This note aims to explain in general terms the protections that apply to employees in the UK and the choices available in relation to the possible termination of an employee's employment along with the relative risk and costs when deciding how to terminate. |
