Title: Retaining your top performers
Content type: Article
Author: Gaynor Lowndes info
Abstract:

As a supplier to the recruitment industry, we are often asked "if we know anyone" when clients are looking for new consulting staff. We have always maintained that it is a conflict of interest to provide training services as well as recruitment to recruitment services and therefore we have never referred participants on to other recruitment firms. Having said that, we constantly hear clients complain about the general state of the recruitment consulting market and the appalling levels of service they receive from recruitment to recruitment firms. Add to this the general shortage of talent in this highly competitive market and the constant consultant turnover and no wonder our industry has such a bad reputation.
